Not been to that one. Went to Whinfell forest, said fishing was available but was actually 10 miles off site (day ticketed water). There was a lake on the complex but no fishing due to water activities.

Poleman, It's well worth taking your tackle. The lake has a good head of carp. I have been numerous times, but the mrs wont let me take my tackle . It's a bit like a commercial and I would try the same kind of tactics. If you go to the pancake house, which is on a wooden platform type thing in the lake, there is a good chance you will see loads of carp feeding off the bits the punters chuck in. So, it might be worth taking a few dog biscuits, if the weather is warmish. Good luck. Let us know how you get on Barts

Fished there Summer 07, plenty Rudd and a few Carp.Good fun.no big carp though.Fished maggot, Meat and corn.
