Just heard from a mate of mine who fished this spot yesterday, he its absolutely fishing its nuts off! ;D He went for a couple of hours after work and it was non-stop with barble, chub, tench, roach and carp up to about 4lb. All in all cracking sport. In his own words he didnt have time to spark a fag up it was that busy! Its literally 2 minutes off J29 M1 and can be fished on day ticket - £40/book and £5/ticket. Nice wooden pegs and decent parking. Theres 5 ponds on the including a carp lake with a 30lb+ stocked. maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&q=Heath,Chesterfield,Derbyshire,UnitedKingdom&ie=UTF8&cd=2&geocode=0,53.194399,-1.333122&ll=53.199478,-1.359022&spn=0.003631,0.007982&t=h&z=17

the big reservior has great bream stocks that grow huge but come summer it can be quite clear.
lings pond is a great all round pond that is rammed with carp, if john is still the baliff he is friendly and helpful with hot pegs and methods

I fished Williamthorpe on Sunday 9am-6pm and had a cracking days fishing.
It did switch off around lunch but when it was good it was brilliant as bites came thick and fast on feeder at about 20 meters out.
I had a 40lb mixed bag of skimmers, barble, roach, bream, chub and perch. Meat was the best bait bt corn, maggot and ringers pellets all produced bites.
Highly recommended spot made even better by the fact you can use keepnets.
