hi all, im going down to earlswood lakes on the 1st of august. never been before but here its a good carp venue so im looking for a few pointers on how to target the carp, and also if any1 fancies coming down just let me know.

well what a place. started off quite slow until some bait got into the swim. and the fisrt fish pulled my rod in litteraly just managed to catch the but before it dissapeared. after i had the i told you so from my mate who it turns out fished it at the begining of the year i set up a 2 rod attack with baitrunners. they never stopped from hitting the water within 5 minutes they were off again, to have dinner or even a cup of coffee you had to take the rods out. there was 4 of us there with 8 rods out at 1 point we all had fish on and the other rods were going with bites il get the picture of me playing 2 fish at the same time. if any1 plans on going makesure you use baitrunner reels. the fishery it self is quite a big lake but the water level at the moment is very low and you fish off the lake bed which is verry sandy so be prepared to get mucky.
