Whilst on my short sabatical I fished this venue. The venue is well worth a visit if you find yourself down that neck of the woods for a short stay. The place is huge and being' Darn Sarf ' the clientel don't seem to have to Eff and Blind it all day. The reception area has a Cafe and tackle shop and is open and serving upto 30 minutes before closing. Night fishing is available. The main lake is huge with guys fishin from the banks and also from boats. It is so big one does not interfere with the other. There are also Two other pools about 5 miutes walk from the main lake.Relative to what we pay up Norf' it is a tadge pricy at £11.00 a day. One rod. I had a steady day with Skimmers and Roach on the main lake . Had my back been in a better condition I would have and should have fished one of the smaller pools which are Match stocked.
