At the request of Mal and his family the lads on the management team have agreed to withdraw Mal's diary pieces from the forum, and (if possible) from the main site, to assist in his efforts to have them published. On behalf of the moderating team, and no doubt, the membership as well, we wish him every success in this his venture, into a very competitive world. BOF

Gutted to hear that we will no longer have the benefit of MooMoo's unique view on things even in the YF archives. But must add my best wishes to Malc in his endeavours to find a publisher. Malc, make sure that the photograph of the author is on the back and not the front and you may have a best-seller. ;D Good luck mate.
Paul.

Good luck to him but you'd have to point out that as they've already been in the public domain they are very unlikely to be published now.

I do hope you are wrong Loafer. They were always a good read. I havent been able to contact Chegers yet, to find out about whats happening to the stuff on the main site. So if they are unlikely to be published, because they have been on the web, maybe they could be saved someplace for him? BOF

Must admit I haven't really kept up with the recent 'goings on' with regards to all the resignations/people leaving etc....
things seem to be turning into a bit of a political arena (bit strange for a fishing website...guess it takes all sorts!).
The post from moomoos daughter seems to be tinged with a bit of an edge so I assume things werent left too amicably....
Obviously I would imagine everyone wishes moomoo well, however..(and I might be speaking out of turn and apologise fully if I cause any kind of offence!!) I think moomoos diary entries were entertaining but mainly because we knew him/of him and the people involved. I can't really see that the content/style would bring a commercial interest from anywhere...hope I'm wrong....and can't fault anyone for believing in themselves!
Good luck anyway...shame things seem to have ended on a bitter note...
Norbs....
