Finding disabled access river fishing in Yorkshire is going to be quite difficult, all our rivers are spate rivers subject to a lot of flooding/ errosion. This makes for high flood banks, and/or rocky protection against flooding, so no go. The question is how badly is your disabled person handicapped, and how determined are they to fish? However we are not totally without hope, York city centre has quite a long length of good wheelchair friendly riverbank, but landing fish is a problem without help, the fishing within the York boundry use to be free( with a fishing license, of course), I am not sure if Leeds doesnt have some similar access near Leeds bridge. However if you are really looking for river fishing ,do not mind travelling a good distance, and have some independant mobility then try the midlands spring fed rivers, noticeably the river Cherwell near Oxford. Flood banks around two to three feet high, tops, canal like access(indeed some lengths weave in and out of canals, lots of fish, and day ticket to boot! The buisness! BOF.
