I have looked round the other sites and cannot find a review other than the makers.
"14.5m of solid power. A real lump stopping piece of kit, but it's not all brute strength, easy to handle, balanced and still maintaining a quick response. Still a great 'silvers' pole with the added knowledge that it will not let you down no matter what is hooked."
Noticeably missing is the weight of the pole the solid power usually equates to "heavy" depends what you are wanting to fish for and at what distance if just margin fishing then the weight is not an issue but if you are wanting to fish at 10M + they can get heavy to hold, don't know what your budget is but I use a Middy xT 15 can be fished at 11M but will handle bigger fish,(other makes are available)lol.

I got this just before Xmas for about £200 at 11.5m. Then bought extension to take to 13m for another £55. Three top kits, light and strong. Also comes in own pole holdall. Was a right bargain and its a fantastic pole for the money. I too didn't want to spend crazy money as I'm a pleasure angler only. Not sure if you will get a similar deal to what I did (Fosters of Birmingham).

Had a xt15 for a few years now great pole very strong and easily fishable at full length. Never had an cracks or breaks even with big carp. Only advice I would give is don’t buy the universal top kits there nowhere near as good as the originals and not much cheaper anyway. Bobco sell the original ones for £40.

Completely agree, the middy top kits are fantastic, never personally bought a uni ersal top kit. Very easy to fit the middy puller bungs to each top kit too. I was worried about drilling the kits having never done it before, and was very surprised at how easy it was to do.

Are them middy xt 15 any good then They are brilliant pal. When I got mine it was dirt cheap, very strong, and only 700g at 11.5m! Easy to fit side puller and 3 top kits. Had Carp well over 20lb on it and copes with ease.

I don't ever fish at 16m though so the Middy with extension for about £255 was a bargain for me as a pleasure angler only. Just got in from a morning session using it too, bagging up on Big Tench!
