Hi I have been trying different fisheries this year and due to having a week off work soon was going to try lowfield lakes for first time. I have looked on their Facebook page and their appears to be a few lakes to choose from. Can anyone advise on lakes/tactics and if their are any specific rules I may need to know about (apart from the normal barbless hooks, keepnet, unhooking mat etc). I usually take pellets, luncheon meat etc but know some fisheries don't allow it and obviously want to respect whatever is in place (and saves me cubing a tin and then binning it ).

All the lakes have plenty of carp. I usually fish expander pellets or maggots over micros at about 7 or 8 metres. Plus try right over the far side. I prefer Corner or riverside to the Main Lake.

Thanks for the info pontylad and crofton blade appreciate the info. sounds a good venue so will definitely go when off work. Do they have a shop there that sells terminal tackle or is it just fishery pellets available (I assume they have fishery pellets in micro, 4mm, 6mm etc and you can use any pellets on hook).

Hey Thanks for comments. Yes its No Meat based products, our feed pellets - we sell micros, 4mm, 6mm & 8mm. You can use your own hook pellets. Gates now open at 8am and close at the moment at 6.30pm. Maggot, Worm & Caster, Pellet, has been doing ok at the moment.
Rachel - the very pleasant lady - Thanks.
