Can anyone recommend a good solid margin pole max £150. Ive looked at Preston Monster Roller Pulla but read some have issues with peeling, also looked at Shimano beastmaster and Middy M2. Figure that asking people who actually own/use one is best option rather than buying purely on impulse alone!

Middy m2 loads better than beastmaster. And preston one. Very strong used to have the middy m3. Middy m2 @ m1

Wouldn't touch preston one and beastmaster u loost to much when putting decent elastic. M2 is rated to 30 elastic. I had all top end margin poles previously and rated m3 the best one I had

The m2 sections are solid. I held the preston one and sections didnt feel strong and also very whippy oncr u cut beastmaster and preston its prob 8m. Where as m2 is just less than 10m. Dont need to cut owt

Currently using a very old, heavy and outdated Leeda Carp pole which needs replacing for something more suited to my needs.

I got rid of my margin poles and bought a garbolino uk4. As all my top kits fit and all sections as got another garbolino pole. Middy also brought another pole out. But only six meters

I got my son a yank and bank it was very whippy and floppy. He was only seven and couldnl only hold three section of it. Got rid and got him browning xitan margin pole. Excellent. Light stiff and he could hold it all. The m2 is far superior to the yank n bank. Stronger. Lighter. Rated to heavier elastic.
