Thanks lads,The new pole did indeed help a lot being able to fish at 14-5 M for a lot of the day did catch me a few extra carp, just shows a practice session is sometimes un helpful as no one expected the Carp to feed and the silvers not,I went with no idea what was going to feed and played it by ear so to speak

Its 32C here today Steve. Its so hot the fish are gasping for air on the surface, flags are cracking and there's a strange smell coming from Suggsy's patio.

Although I fished an absolute stinker , mainly due to the proximity of the sewage filter beds and the curse of the brown ( can't be healthy that ! ) it was nice to see the real fishermen bag a few. Dean fished a blinder next to me and it was great to see the smile when he pulled that big carp out , makes a days fishing a fish like that !!! It was great to see MAP 1 pull a couple of carp out too , the holiday in Ibiza must have done you good Martin.. Well done to all who mastered the conditions on the day. Wonder what the silver fish were up to ?....... They seemed to disappear very early on at our end of the pond ! Oh well that's fishing I suppose . Thanks for organisation of day Phil and Mick .
