Ill be in Rhinos team.  Proper mans game non o this wearing gloves and "man tights" and rolling all over pitch from the slightist knock.When I was a lad men were men.... and Sheep were wary  ...I wish it would warm up its tooo cooooold to go fishing yet. I keep going in 't' shed and sitting on mi new box. even sat in Shed wi my pole on spray bar! with my pole 1/2 way down the drive .. near had Postmans eye out Saturday  You catch owt Martin or blank again? |

Luck of the draw with the football fixtures,but you are more than welcome to fish them, I'd love to unfortunately I manage a football team on a Saturday all this is assuming I keep my job at end of season ha ha Ha,ha fortunately the fatality rate for local football manages is not quite as severe as with the professional game,takes me back a few years though,I played for and then managed some very useful local sides before you was born though  |

![]() Fished ben lee today. Caught plenty of ide. Biggest was about 10 ounce. Majority of ide where 4 to 5 ounce. I tokesome pictures but i cant uploadthem. The pond is about 3 to 4 ft across which is about 13 meters in majority of pegs. Downthe track about 5ft. Olivers lake ideal for disabled anglers. Was very impressed with the pegs and layout. So impressed i going again next week weather permitting. Spoke to owner who said he caught 28 carp few week ago but they only on certain pegs |

Hope you all had a great festive period, apologies for not being on site much but been mega busy, Well done Phil and Paul for preparing an interesting and appealing set of fixtures for the year and i should be able to fish all but 1 of them, As for the football team allegiance match , Phil and Paul have enough on their plate running the matches but i would gladly help on this one.. however, being a rugby union fan with no particular football club.. apart from Burnley ( close to Blackburn ) played rugby for Rotherham and Leeds Corinthians so could throw my hat in with several camps.. lets see who is a man short nearer the time.. On another note, a couple of people have expressed an interest in a few pre season knock ups, on this, facilitation is in progress and hopefully something concrete will appear on site within the next ten days Mick |

Kel, for the price of those boxes, they should be able to make tea, coffee, hot choc and then halfway through the session have a button to launch tomahawk missiles, with sat tracking, sort the troubles of the world, then when the weather threatens, you just press the cloud busting function button and kate bush leaps out of the box.. dressed to your requirements, and clears all the clouds.. All my tackle, match, river and game didnt cost as much as that box. Im thinking itll look a bit like Jimmy Savilles old Fix It armchair- maybe a 2 seater for Thomas to sit and fish next to dad? With an automated fish landing system as an add on. (Ill make do with Kate Bush landing my fish on account of my knackered shoulder).

Well not been on here for a while and the Footy is out of date might only be 2 draws and a win but it still gives Leeds breathing space off the bottom with 3 down there looking doomed.
Anyways happy new year to you all, not fished this year yet so looking forward to a sesh soon, might try one of the new venues when the weather picks up as in not blowing an icy gale with snow in the air \o/
