Hi gang I've always read about this place and it's had excellent review's, toying with the idea of having a holiday there in the summer holidays, has anyone ever fished it and is it as good as it looks n sounds.

Thanks for that a very interesting read and the accommodation looked better than I imagined.
I'd guess they are very wise fish and it's obviously fished a hell of a lot.
Ill have to Russel up some baits they don't eat everyday that could fool them.
Looks an amazing place and will make some eenquiries.
Never caught a cat and it's on my list for this season.

I went in 2009 and loved it, we went in November so not so busy but for a variety of species you can't knock the place and zygg is a great guy.

Ha! I was talking about this place on the bank at the Viaduct yesterday. Yeh, suppose to be awesome, although Zyg has some wacky rules on some of the lakes. Minimum line 10lb, size 8 hook or something barmy like that...
Still, wouldn't hesitate on going there.

try kingslake its about 20mins drive from a-p
its advertised in in the holiday sections of the angling mags
or try their website
a good place to check out the area plenty of fisheries in the area
not expensive has 7 cracking lakes but take all you need in with you
its 25 mins to a shop for a paper but the setting and the scenery superb
