Does anyone have any tips or tactics for Cromwell lake in Newark fishing here start of April and i know naff all about it

Fished there before they like there boilies. And if the weather is right a mixer. Lots of weed there fella and the place is gin clear

The fish seem to follow a warm wind and sit on the back of a cold one but they do have a tendency to show themselves quite abit ive also had a few fish from the margins on both sides but that was in the middle of summer also id go easy on the bait just a solid bag and a small wafter or popup. Its been a couple of years since ive fished it but nathan the owner gave me some advice last time I went and I caught. Good luck its a tricky water.
