Barry's lake / Barton broad

Does anyone know if this is still open for fishing?

And if not whats happened to it, new owners etc.

I think the lake was formerly known as Barton broads and as far as I know there Is no longer fishing allowed on there I belive It was made into a nature reserve.
So unless I am mistaken or there has been a change of heart then its a no go for fishing as I say unless anyone knows otherwise.

Just had a look on google and the nature reserve would appear to be next door to this lake the bad news Is its an over 50s complex with fishing for residents only

Yes, thats the lake known as Barton broads.
As far as i understand its no longer open and is something to do with a caravan/lodge park.

You have both confirmed what I had heard ie two different stories as to Barton Broads fate.

Anyone else have more information to both confirm which is the correct lake and its current use?
