staffordshire - browning cudmore

i am off fishing with 5 mates on a 3 day jaunt to stafford in august. went last year and fished izaac walton twice and heronbrook. three good days fishing. want to try different places this year as well as trying a different pond at izaac walton.

heard cudmore (home of fish o mania is quality) just wondered if anyone fished it and which pond to fish.

we are mainly pole anglers so was thinking one of the canals.

also anywhere else around stafford worth trying

Have fished Milo, Drumble and Arena (Brother in Law's choice - poser!!) - all great ponds and comfortable fishing
good fishing every time - been twice (Milo in Morning and Drumble in afternoon)- make sure you adhere to rules we saw someone asked to leave on my first visit

A friend from Northwich says try Barden Hall Fishery off the A519 -says it is worth a visit or two - I haven't had chance to try it yet

He says apart from a very few free stretches all the canals are leased by clubs and the best idea would be to ask at the local tackle shops
