Forgot all about this place, spent many happy days on here after the Bream. Sadly that was a lot of years ago.
Early in the season we used to wade out on the shallows, using groundbait feeder and a few bits of gear fishing from a octoplus long legged groundbait bowl just above the water.
After that it was down the roadside, best peg used to be just as the reed bed started.
Seem to remember it was about 12ft deep just off your rod tip and some big Roach could be had on caster.
Think one of the local angling clubs took it over but i can't be sure.
Think i will have a look on google earth to see what its like now.
