Many of us including myself until recently, when using Google will have just typed in a word and pressed search. Here are a few tips to help you get more from Google! If you type in 'define:' followed by a word this command turns Google into a dictionary for you. If you type 'spell' Google becomes your own spellchecker. 'maps' will make Google search for maps of the place you requested. 'phone:' will search for anything that maybe a phone number relating to your search. 'intitle:' will return entries with your search word only in the title. 'inurl:' will return entries with your word in a sites url. 'link:www.yoursite.com:' will show sites who have linked back to the site name you replace 'www.yoursite.com' with. i.e. link:www.yorkshirefishing.net 'site:www.yoursite.com' will return searches only from the site you specify. There are many many more commands out there, some useful some maybe not so useful but all worth taking a look at . Andy.
