Top o tha cliffs JUST JOKING - do not try this at homeAs Finny say's try the end of the pier for starters - Mackerel, whiting, coalies - lobsters A word of warning - Weevers - if you get this funny looking fella dont just grab hold - use a towel. I have caught a few off the pier. www.glaucus.org.uk/weever2.htmPlenty of info here.. www.whitbyseaanglers.co.uk/

Could do with a cheap beachcaster set from one of the shops mate, depending on the tide you could end up throwin 5/6oz leads out so go to GB angling thats just up the hill, on the way upto town from the front, and GB angling is on your right. Should be able to get a cheap deal, about £30? Ideally could do with a rod about 12 foot and about 18lb+ line.

Could do with a fixed spool reel for first time.
