I fished it a few years ago in the early part of the close season. I caught plenty of ide to just und 3lb, rudd and a double figure carp. All on waggler and caster fished shallow. It was a cold day but I remember get plenty of bites.

I didn't try the pole or feeder. I like to travel light and keep my gear simple nowadays, so pole fishing is in the dim and distant past for me. I'm sure both methods would work.

Been a few years since I was a member of Pisces but like afx22 I too found that the wag and mag / caster approach worked well, not just on Flixy either, but on all their stillwaters. BOF
