myself and 4 mates are living it up in the summer with a jaunt out to staffordshire, van booked, premier inn booked, brewsters vouchers...we know how to live it up lol
we are staying just outside stone and are looking for ideas where to fish for our three days
we have pencilled izacc walton (fished last year and a cracking venue with 4 of us all getting over 50lb of carp each)
the other two venues we may try are herronbrook and baden hall.
has anyone fished these or know any others worht fishing
thanks in advance sumo

Don't know any of those venues, but I've been to Birchhouse lakes in Ashbourne so not too far from Stone. Cracking venue and there are some nice lumps in Osprey, had a lovely 15lb common carp on the feeder rod last time which didn't half put up a fight! birchhouselakes.co.ukEven closer, you have just north of you Cudmore Fisheries, never fished it, but there's a good range of lakes, some of which have some lumps in too... www.cudmorefishery.com
