;D last week (weds) caught my first bass a lovely 5lb with my beachcaster and f/spool what a lovly suprise it was had it for my tea first time i tasted bass and its got to be 1 of the best ive tasted i was just about to put my sea fishing gear away for the summer to do my freshwater fishing but now a trip to tackle shop to buy a spinning rod to catch more bass ill do a bit of both in summer

good fish for the east coast billy, bass are starting to work there way ever northward, spent nearly all night last night looking for the pictures we had of a bass we bought off a trawler that had been fishing up mid channel,i was going to send it to you to provide an aim to go for .
it weighed 26lb 5oz!!
