hey everyone. can anyone explain a simple setup for fishing for any sea fish that will be next to a sea wall when the tide is up. also what bait to use

well would a 1.8m telescopic be strong enuff for small fish? i am using a big pit reel

You want A fixed spool beachcaster A fixed spool reel 20lb line 60lb line for your leader 4 to 5oz leads 2 or 3 hook flappers Swivels Spare hooks
Bait Fresh lug worm Squid Mackeral.

Monkey, you can usually catch billet (small coalfish) and flatties from the harbour walls at Whitby, Scarborough and Bridlington. Summer and Autumn is best and you don't need sophisticated tackle, just lower a simple running leger with a size 8 hook off your rod end. Mussels are a good bait and you can buy cartons from the local tackle shops. A word of warning: watch out for weevers, they are only a few inches long but have a very painful sting. They are sandy coloured fish with a small, jet black spikey front dorsal fin.
