went first time 3 years ago
its a fabulous place for a fishing holiday with 7 lakes
80% of the carp are 5lbs+ with a lot of double figures
some cracking roach fishing as well not to mention the tench
ideal for outings to cornwall anglers paradise is just a couple of miles away on the road if you fancy a change or there are quite a few venues in the area tho why you would want to fish offsite
i don't know
responsible all male parties allowed 4-6
i had to buy 4 packets of size 10 hooks used loads of chum mixers on th big carp lake
you have to have 10lb line carp net and a mat on this lake
the wild life is amazing forest walks or cycle all kinds of birdlife
filling bird feeder twice a day for wife to watch while i was pondside
4 miles to nearest shop 15 to nearest tackleshop
kingslake is located at a place called chilla and its well named
you come home in a bucket
bit of a play area for toddlers but otherwise its fishing and tranquility so take all supplies with you
shed for tackle so you can leave rods setup
for a quiet family holiday this will take some beating
if you book before end of oct for next year you pay this years prices
