I have just returned from a weeks fishing holiday at Redhouse Farm at North Scarle near collingham, there are 5 caravans and 3 lodges on site with no tourers or day tickets, all the caravans and lodes are 5m from the waters edge, the lake in front of the caravan is absolutely stuffed with 4-6 ox roach and rudd of the same size, these can be a nuisance when targeting larger fish, there are also a lot of bream in the 1-2.5lb catergory, there are some double figure carp and barbel up to 3lb in there, the lake in front of the lodges has the same stocking, there is a 2 acre specimen lake which is very clear and the carp are wary but you can get them going on floaters in the evening, my best went 13lb 6oz, there is also a small carp lake which is stuffed with commons between 2-3lb, there is also a small tench lake which is alive with tench in the 2-3oz catergory (beutifull little fish) If you want a peacefull break in beautifull surroundings I cannot recommend Redhouse farm highly enough.
