Depends which Lake your on
Last time I was there about 3 weeks ago it was fishing not too bad given the conditions, I was on Langdale channel and had a short session on Cavendish as well.
Most of the Lakes seem to be sheltered and the water temp was quite high (in comparison to up here anyway) there was a good head of Carp in both lakes with a mix of other stuff
