Must be a new venue as my grandparents worked there part time for years and there wasn't one there up to 5yrs ago? I know thats a long time these days with commercials popping up everywhere. If you do want to fish a good fishery in mablethorpe i can recomend "the grange" it has a few ponds for every type of fisherman, specimen, coarse, match etc. Also a very good well kept venue, with on sight tackle shop is oham lakes, well stocked with all species and all your common baits maggot, meat, corn, pellet work well. There both on the main road in too mablethorpe so could be worth a call in on your way there both 10 mins from the haven site.
Hope that helps a bit, Danny

The haven site does have a fishing lake, down where the tents are.....I fished it once and found it just horrid. Packed with scrotes and its very tight in places with not a lot of room to fish. Not my type of place at all.
The Grange as Pontyowl mentioned has 4 lakes available.....we go there every year as our lasses boss has a caravan on site. There is a specimen lake that really doesn't look big enough to be called a speci lake, I haven't fished it but there does appear to be some decent fish in, although I know they had to close it at points last year as the fish were going belly up.
The coarse lakes have been pretty poor in all honesty, water levels last year weren't great and the fishing did seem difficult.
Oham is a nice set up, but can get really busy....the first lake as you go into the site is supposed to hold some nice barbel with the bigger carp being in the main lake.....
Its well worth travelling over skeggy way if you're looking for somewhere decent to fish not too far from Mablethorpe. I know the Sycamore lakes complex there is pretty decent.
