Thats becuase Craig does not want to have to look after a minor (IMO I don't blame him as I would be exactly the same)

Would you describe Mushroom Ponds as a commercial or natural venue? Is it stocked with fishery fish or wild born natural fish that have spawned etc?

Hi Malc and Tyke. Sorry I couldn't make it on Sunday 17th. I was in Dorset at my daughters all week. Thanks for the thought anyway.

Hi, What bait(s) and method would be recommended? - ATB Tets. Yes, I've been up there since and it's really starting to pick up now and fish like I know it can. The carp are definitely on the munch now Tets, you will catch on most methods there but beware, there are some real lumps swimming around. The pond we are fishing responds better to pole tactics either on or just above deck or waggler on the deck. Method works well as well, particularly if you have a far bank feature to fish to. On the mushroom lake (main match lake) pellet waggler is deadly if you can see them moving in the upper layers. I've always found pellet, meat or worm does the business but corn and casters will catch. If you want to build a good weight in the summer then obviously target the carp...and don't ignore the margins mate...that's where the monsters live lol. Hope this helps Tets, that's as much as I'm giving away buddy as this is my 'home' venue ;D ;D Actually...there's nothing more to tell...I've given it all away

I dont think £8.50 is too expensive for TWO breakfasts.Around Huddersfield, the average price is about £3.50-£4.00 per breakfast, including mushrooms,or blackpudding. ;D Ricky
