Hey,
Going to be fishing Foss Dyke down near Lincoln in a few weeks, just wondered if anyone had any experience of fishing this place and how to tackle it?
Thanks!
Ash

i have fished it a few years back now in winter on matches, its hard going! single joker on 26 and 28 hooks, if it warms up a bit on the day some skimmers and roach may feed but we found they were in little pockets, we used to jig a big lob worm about too to try and get a jack pike

Cheers mate thinking of trying for some Pike, think I'll have to take the roving approach looking for these shoals of roach and skimmer!

it maybe wise to get more upto date info as i last fished it around 8 years ago, however around bridges and locks should hold fish as it will be slightly sheltered from the cold winds
