I'll make one in with you shaun, its handy to be able to cast a long way, but most of the time its not nesesary, i fish anywhere will that isn't a hard get down, not in the best of health now, and my mate is even worse, he struggles comming up the ramp at mapp.

Glad to hear you've been catching a few at brid.... i usually fish the North Wall, but i'm hanging fire cause of the mild weather. Still too warm and i fear the fish are not yet back in numbers. Want's a good northerly gale for a week or two and they'll come down.... will get the water coloured up too ;D ;D .... Time to dust off the sea tackle me thinks. Just for reference guys, especially shaun, i .75 t/c carp rods and 4oz grippas all the time and can get a fair distance with them. If it's calm i'll go down to 3oz and can get up to 100yds with them, although the 4oz leads are just a bit to heavy to be wacking too hard with a 2.75 me thinks ;D
