When I was down Devon in the spring, someone mentioned that Whiteacres had problems with a carp disease. Probably worth checking out if thinking of going to fish it. Not forced to be true of course as other fisheries may spread rumours in order to boost ticket sales in their own waters

Just got back from the annual trip to W/A's and yes they had a problem with KHV last year, prolly still got infected fish now but the fishery staff have put alot of work in over the winter and the fishings still very good. Needed over 100lb to frame in the Thursday rover and the winner could come off any lake.
Still well worth a visit (I'm thinking of going back down in Sept.) and also worth fishing one of the matches down the road at Gwinear. Again this had a fish kill problem last year but the drained the lake and have put loads of work in to create 3 smaller lakes and have been told the fish are in 1st class condition

Whiteacres is still in fine form,me paulc and tinkertrev were there at the start of July and all caught tons of fish.Trelawney lake was in fine form for surface fishing and all the other lakes were fishing well. The fisheries team have put in a tremendous amount of work to put their problems behind them. The family who don't fish loved the place too which is a big bonus for me
