hi boddington is a brilliant venue you basically need three methods bagging waggler method feeder and short pole with paste or pellets fished a match last year and struggled with method and waggler but caught 120 pound in last 2 hours fishing at 4 mtrs with short pole
mick ps take plenty of bait in the right conditions the more you put in the more you catch they are big fish and hungry

as long as it is a decent carp pole they are decent sized fish and they pull back a bit i think your better using a margin pole if youve got one they come in really close i caught at 4-5mtrs just where the bottom levelled out

Ryan, there is no need to fish that far out, they come really close in, just look for were the bottom flattens out as smithy says and take loads of bait.

sounds ok but now its warming up dont neglect the bagging waggler there will be a huge number of fish in the top layers but if you can get them into short pole range you will catch a lot faster
