I don't know if this has already been done, but the PISCES group is going out to assess the accessability of several local venues. If anyone would like access to these assessments, I am happy to share them. We will be looking at the usual suspects, such as pegs, paths, etc, along with things like gates, whether someone in a wheelchair would be able to go on their own to a venue, facilities, basically a full review of the fisheries. You can PM me here for them, or contact info@piscesfishing.org.uk and I will send them via email. If anyone has any suggestions for venues you've seen to be very good, or know of somewhere improving fast, let me know and I'll make sure that its on the list. The fisheries we'll be assessing will be around Leeds mainly, though hopefully we can expand this. I know that the BDA has assessed a lot of places, and in great detail, but a lot also slip through the net, as they are assessing nationally. We are based in Leeds, so we need a more local picture, and to assess those who the BDA haven't.
