9.00am 14th JANUARY is when they start taking entries, however it says you have to become a full member of NFA to get a ticket ... is this true .. John

sorry if im in correct mate but i suspect you may have read the article incorrectly it states you are required to go to and join the nfa website.. you dont have to pay and join nfa just register as a user of the website like you do for this website. extract from gofishing website on fisho entry process.... The application process will work in the same way as in 2007 with entrants required to visit the NFA website, www.nfadirect.com and follow the Fish 0’Mania links to the entry page. Anglers who entered in 2007 will be able to use their log in details obtained previously to enter, however first time entrants will need to fully register on the site. Ticket prices will remain at the same level of £20 per venue with the closing date for applications at 4pm on Tuesday February 12.

I think you may have an issue here with putting somebody elses name instead of yours.
The reason is that they are trying to stop multiple applications, in other words stop people from trying to get a ticket for every qualifier going, cos some people did do that and loads could not get a ticket. Just a gut feeling tho, you may get lucky !!

The person registering is the only one who can have a ticket, this is to stop multiple applications.
