Looking at the teams, this should be a close run match

Never has so little been caught by so many. With the exception of 4 weights ( 3 YMA and 1 YF ) the catch rate was dismal. 6 hours fishing for a 2oz. crayfish was my lot for the day. Was I missing bites? You can not miss bites you don't have. Not one bite all day. The Crayfish hooked itself with no indication that it was on. Not one maggot chewd etc.etc. Some very acomplished fishermen caught next to nothing today. Sub 5lbs. The question WHY? I can not answer as it was not cold or too hot. Thanks to all who turned up . Commiserations to Darren who until the last peg was weighed was winning his first match.
Mick.

A good contest yesterday. The fishing was hard which meant that many of the sections were won by small amounts - a decent fish could've swung many of the results (including mine). Thanks Hammy for the good company and keeping it interseting while the hours past without a bite. Sorry you lost that big fish in the dying minutes Well done Daz on both winning his section and killing Hammy's at the same time by using kamikaze carp to destroy his swim You'll have to show how me how to do that one day - it is one hell of a skill ;D
