Barts, you have been misinformed if you think it is either - the daily mail will probably find that it is down to the number of immigrants.

Got e-mailed this late yesterday as the reason for the Earthquake.
Will only slightly amuse boxing fans!
Experts from the British Geological Survey now believe that WBO World Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Maccarinelli was the reason behind this mornings terror earthquakes that rocked Britain! The dynamite-fisted Welshman recently shifted his training sessions to the early hours of the morning to prepare for his mega-showdown with David Haye a week on Saturday at The O2 in London, and last night Big Mac put in an awesome power-packed session on a 400lb heavybag that experts believe triggered the earthquake which hit a staggering 5.1 on the Richter scale..
Professor T. Remor said, "The epicentre was originally believed to be 30 miles south of Hull but on further analysis of the data it appears that it was actually in the South Wales region in the early hours of the morning. This was the second biggest earthquake ever recorded in the UK. Strangely, the biggest hit Lleyn in North Wales back in 1984 (When Maccarinelli first put on a pair of boxing gloves!). An earthquake has a magnitude of four which is the equivalent of 1,000 tonnes of TNT or a small nuclear weapon. Last nights was of a magnitude four - which is pretty scary. As a boxing fan, I have read that Enzo Maccarinelli is working out at this time time for his fight with David Haye and we are now examining if he is the cause of these tremors."
Bewildered people lined up the streets as householders were shaken out of their beds and buildings shook, luckily WBC/WBA World Champion Haye is still training in Miami and missed the tremors otherwise he would have pulled out of the fight!
Maccarinelli v Haye is the biggest all British showdown since the Nigel Benn-Chris Eubank epics in the 90s. With 50 fights between them, 40 by way of knock-out and 30 coming inside three rounds it is expected to be the most explosive showdown in recent years and is televised live on Setanta in the UK and on Showtime in the US.
Maccarinelli said, "Wow! that was some training session Enzo Calzaghe put me through last night. Enzo had me working on power punches on the heavybag for over two hour and I can honestly say I have never punched a bag as hard as that in my life. We have had a specially made heavybag imported from America, the kind that Mike Tyson used to use, to focus on power punching and when I was unloading the bag just went flying everywhere. I apologise if people around Britain were disturbed during the night by this but I am giving them an advanced warning now that they had better be prepared on March 8 because when Haye lands on that canvas it will trigger off an even bigger earthquake!"

DISASTER IN LEEDS An Appeal For Your Help.
A major earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale hit in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Epicentre:Leeds,England.
News of the disaster was swiftly carried abroad by the towns 35,000 racing pigeons,as victims were seen wandering around aimlessly muttering "Fookinhell" and "Choofinnorah".
The earthquake decimated the town causing £30 worth of damage. Several priceless collections of mementos from the Balearics Isles and the Spanish Costas were damaged beyond repair. Three areas of historical burnt out cars were disturbed.
Many locals were awoken well before their Giro's arrived. Radio Leeds reported that hundreds of residents were confused and bewildered, still trying to come to terms with the fact that something interesting had happened in Leeds. One resident,15 year old mother of 3, Tracy Sharon Braithwaite said, "It was such a shock, my little Chardonnay-Madonna came running into my bedroom crying. The twins, Tyler-Morgan and Megan-Storm slept through it all. I was still shaking when I was watching Kilroy the next morning". Locals were determined not to be bowed as looting, muggings and car crime carried on as normal.
So far the British Red Cross has managed to ship 4000 crates of Sunny Delight to the area to relieve the suffering of stricken locals. Rescue workers searching through the rubble have found large quantities of personal belongings including benefit books, jewellery from Elizabeth Duke at Argos and bone china from Poundstretcher.
CAN YOU HELP? Please respond generously to our appeal for food and clothing for the victims of this disaster.
Clothing is needed most of all, especially - Fila or Burberry baseball caps - Kappa tracksuit tops ( His or Hers ) - Shell suits ( Female ) - White sports socks - Rockfort boots or any other product sold in primark
Culturally sensitive food parcels are harder to put together, but your efforts will make a difference. Microwave meals, tinned baked beans, ice cream and cans of colt 45 or special brew are ideal. Please do not give anything that requires peeling.
Remember - 22p buys a Biro for filling in compensation claims - £2 buys chips, crisps and a blue fizzy drink for a family of 9 - £5 will buy a packet of Benson and Hedges and a lighter to calm a child's nerves
Urgently Required: Tinned Whippet food and bones for Jack Russels.
Please do not send tents for shelter. The sight of such posh housing will cause discontent in the surrounding West Yorkshire communities
