alright not quite a quake but approx 10 minutes ago we felt the earth move and it scared the bejesus out of me and the dog mark p.s in knottingley

Yeah mate that was a strong one, way stronger than one a few years back, the house shook for a few seconds.

We got it in Selby as well, I was sat on the floor at the time and thought I was falling off!

Turns out to be centred 30 miles south of Kingston upon Hull and registered 4.7 mark

Epicentre was in Hull according to News24.

epicentre was actually west torrington, linconshire
it started at 6.21miles deep, its been reported as far south as southhampton, and as far west as liverpool
it was a 4.7 on the rictor scale & started at 00:56am, california had one just before us at stamford bridge, theres was only a 2.7 on the rictor scale tho
