Any body going to venture out fishing tommorow.Just looked at the forecast and it don't look good.Gale force winds and rain. As my fishing time is very limited at the moment i will have to take what comes. Oh i can't wait to get up at 4-30 with the rain and wind rattling on the window . Gaz

Ohh goody 25+ mph winds, that means gusts up to 30 to 40+ and horizontal freezing rain ! Think I'm either going to hibernate, or grab a short break holiday someplace warm. Possibly till March. ;D To misquote Captain Oates, "I am just going out. I may be gone some time" SolarpoweredBOF

It's a private water waynec with no publicity .Sorry mate. Lots of poaching going on around the area so best to keep quiet. Not just fish i might add. The last time i went the estate manager said that a few of the deer had gone missing , thats one of the reasons we arn't allowed to night fish here. Gaz

Well they got the weather predictions right for once. Fair fancied some trotting on the 'pin but it is blowing a gale and half down here in not so sunny Huddersfield.

Got up this morning to see a huge gazebo has landed in next doors garden, metal poles and everything! Shouldn't laugh as it was really dangerous and has smashed their fence and bent double a concreted in metal wash-pole!
But looks so funny!

It's not been too bad here today. I was going to have a walk down to the ponds but decided to go one day through the week instead. The winds picked up alot now and it's just started to rain but it's not heavy........yet!!

What a performance. Liquidised some bread this morning before the off. I picked the blender up to give it a shake and somehow managed to pull a muscle in my neck doing so, please dont ask how, but I ended up on the kitchen floor for a good ten mins yelling in agony. Got absolutely no sympathy from the missus either. Anyway I eventually managed to bumble out the house and get to the Swale. Sat it out for a couple of hours for 1/2 dozen bits on maggots till the pain got that bad I was sick( literally) It got that bad I couldnt turn my head either way, so enough was enough I packed up and came home. Been laid in bed all afternoon watching dvd's, drinking beer and eating painkillers. Hope everyone else faired better than me ;D ;D

Followed by a girl with pigtails, red shoes and a small dog called Toto, no doubt. These South Yorkshire folk will have us believe anything. BOF
