On my travels south this week down the M1 , I went past junction 38, just after the services ( Huddersfield / Barnsley) turn off and there is a pond just past it on your left hand side by the side of the motorway. I have passed this thousands of times and I have always wondered what it was like. I remember years ago that it was just trout fishing only, but now it says Day ticket Fishing Any one got any info on this one ;D

i think they call it river side fisheries pal yu get of at juction 38 go on to the a637 to barnsley go past the pub on the left so far up the hill yu will see a turn of to the left which goes under the motor way yu will se it

its riverside fishery fished it years ago it was full of crayfish turn left at the pub on the barnsley road and then instead of going left into the carpark go to the right under the motorway.. have a look at this www.yorkshirefishing.net/content.php?article.122

I rang up earlier this year and the farm had changed hands,was told no fishing now.
