Hello all! New to this forum, recently had to move to Leeds due to Covid-19. I've fished None go bye with great success. Wanted info on fishing at Pool and if possible where abouts on Rodley canal. I partake in fly fishing and pike fishing especially, and will not say no to a big perch or two. Tight lines all. P x

Brilliant, thank you. Any news on whether there's a good head of pike/perch too? I'd like to try and target them with flies?

There are a good few Pike and some good Perch as well as some decent Chub but it's mainly a Trout and Grayling venue. I would say some of the other Leeds venues would be a better option for Pike and Perch such as the Nidd or Ouse but you'd need to be a member to fish them as Pool is the only river venue of Leeds ASA with day tickets. The Leeds book is good value with many excellent venues to go at www.leedsdasa.co.uk/membership.php

Excellent, will probably try for trout and grayling then. Might get the old spinning rod out too. Thanks for your help!
