I live in tropical Queensland, it's winter here and yesterday, it was 20 C at night and 24 C at 2 PM. That is fu...fu...fureezing...Had a fleecy lined overshirt on all day. What is odd is that we have a wet and a dry and so far the wet has been dry and the dry has been wet. February, the wettest month on average was drier than June, the second driest month on average... BTW, the coldest we have experienced in the 16 years we have lived in Mackay, is +8 C...on 6 occasions It do make you want to...Dunnit? Cheers, Bobj.

Depends ...hav u got a pub that sells tetleys Nearest pub is 'The Leap', about a 15 minute drive through sugar cane fields. An Aboriginal girl was by cheap4all"> chased by a randy farmer, she had a baby boy with her and climbed a hill and jumped off rather than succumb to the farmer. That was in the 1880s. Her son lived. The pub was named after that event.

Plenty of places that are cooler in NSW and Victoria...Spiders are more prevalent in the UK. And the fishing is far better here.
