Before anyone else chips in ... about 70... probably use 3 in winter, maybe 6 or 7 in summer But i am always scared of not having the right rig for the occassion or the right top kit .. lol Mick

I don't match fish so don't need to be as well prepped but I'd say I have around 15 rigs already set up, they cover most of the pole fishing I do and I'm not too bothered about setting up a new one if I need to.
I'd probably have more but can never seem to find the time to make them up. Any spare time I do have I'd rather be out fishing.

I only have about 10 to 20. I carry a few extra floats and make them up on the bank if I need them. I'm not into this covering all bases lark and my seat box doesn't hold that many.

Too many , or not enough. It depends on the type of fishing you do , commercial, canal, lake etc. I have 5+ ready made up for whatever i am fishing but will still re-make up one or two or ajust to suit the peg. Just look at your fishing and then set your rigs to suit, oh and spares are essential just in case you snap off. daz

I think Paste (Mat)one of the best anglers on the site used to make them up on the day for each venue saying you know you have got the right one for each day rather than one out of your box that will do, i have been known to make one up in the match (out comes the feeder rod) while I do it but usually use a practice session to know what to take with me on the day.

As a rule I make a few up before a match .but never put shot on until I've plumbed up ..I like to cut rig down to size then put shot on .exception if I'm using a ollivete which I do with most of my worm fishing .but still leave droppers off till I know depth I'm fishing ..
