Anyone know any clubs In Hull area who have space for members looking for a club to fish a few matches with would prefer natural venues but mixed fisheries as opposed to out and out carp places would be fine.

I've tried before on here to find a club around hull and no joy..... Maybe we should start our own! Most clubs these days have a commercial fishery bias its a shame but the truth of the matter Is not many people want to fish rivers and canals or natural lake venues. You only have to look In the angling press at there match diary each week and you will struggle to find many of the afore mentioned venues listed.

the only club in hull who fishes mainly natural venues is the mill ac, im not a member but if you get in touch with the mill pub im sure that they wiull know who to contact. i know for a fact that the ship ac based in keyingham need members details in the fishing basket tackle shop door, but these are more carp minded venues that they fish, hope this helps

Thanks Zanthras will bear it in mind I have done the commercial fishery thing but I am currently revisiting my younger days with a passion for river fishing and enjoying every minute of It. Commercials are ok for the river closed season but you cant beat the thrill of a stick float disappearing and the clunk of a big roach or dace kicking on the rod end. Or a gudgeon LOL
