Hey guys
Just a thought, i struggle to find info about open matches in the area, pretty new to fishing them and only done a couple but think it would be useful to have some info up here. Its possible it is and I just missed it, if thats the case could someone please point me in the right direction? If not, i think details of matches, evening and weekend would be very useful.
Tight lines
Rich

Mate.. firstly, they don't cover everything... secondly, the angling press does where to fish guides too, does that mean this website shouldn't give venue info?

Nice idea but Id imagine itd be hell of a lot of work for someone to collate all the match information on to a forum and even then it would be reliant on match organisers posting their info on here. Ive seen Lowfields do it but no one else.

Beakols,
If you are looking for local matches to start with, I would recommend joining Todmerden angling club, they hold club matches on local canals and stillwaters,
You could try calling in to Mick at Macs tackle shop in Burnley and ask one of the guys there or call in to Rochdale angling centre and ask there.
Conversely, if you fancy a fun match or 2 next year, you could book on to this sites fun matches.

Don't mean owt wrong ...just I've relied on it forever ...to be fair though I keep seeing results of matches I would have fished that havnt been advertised ..but that's down to the organisers I suppose ....
