Hey guys what am i likely to get from Bridlington, early october by boat, pretty close to shore really, any ideas, much appreciated, just to know what gear to take across

Whiting, Codling... Possibility of Bigger stuff, but not guaranteed

As above mate, but the last couple of weeks the boats havn't been doing very well.

If you want my advice, i'd fish from the Shore or off the North wall after the 31st of October, you will probably have a better day there to be fair. You are looking at Whiting, Codling, Coley, Flatties, very slim chance of Dogfish and Bass (They have been caught very occasionally). The Beach from Sewerby steps north can be productive. Fair cast needed to get out beyond the rock pools though that are exposed at low tide. The further you go up the coast towards the head, the warier you need to be of the tide. She can come right up to the cliffs on very high tides. A good Skipper could put you over some Tope off the head and maybe Ling, but not sure how many there are about

dont waste your money going out on boats from brid mate as stated only lizzard any good but dosnt go from harbour.whitby you can go wreck fishing or uptiding go once a month from there and always catch some decent fish.

hi ian love my boatfishing not bin out in a couple of years had some bad times at whiby.i think you gotta get on with the skipper the fish are ther but a lot of skippers don,t or can,t put you on them.the on trip i do fancy is a biggy on the chieftan any reports on how there doing.they say that the boat two dogs is a good boat.maybe we will have a day out m8

will make one in anytime ,seaotter2 paul kilpatrick skipper he loves is fishing and fast boat ,gets out to wrecks when weather permitting caught some good ling and cod ,and my best pollack on shads
