Basic rules of YF and all matches for that matter.
1...After the draw disperse to your peg when told to.
This is to give everybody equal setting up time. Usually 1 HOUR.
2..Set up your gear. Pole + two Rod.
2a..Barbless Hooks or ( Micro Barb If venue Permits)
3...Keep Net can be placed in the water (some venues insist on two keepnets).
4..Plumb up your swim or cast feeder (without hook attached)to get distance no attempt to be made to attract fish
into your swim.
5..Time called...Any feed can now be introduced.
5a...Start Fishing.
6...One rod or Pole in the water at any time. Spare rod or pole can be to hand but not in the water with bait on.
7..Optional...Wonder where the fish are
8..All fish put in net and weigh in at the end . ( Important on YF Matches )
8a..If the venue stipulates weigh and return all fish over 4lb or whatever is the venue rule is. Otherwise all in the net.
Note...There was no such rule at CarpVale as it is a big match venue and you could imagine the hassle it would cause on big open matches. If you are worried about this rule then get another net and separate the Carp and big Tench and Bream out from the silver fish.
9..Land all fish on your own. Your responsibility.
10 At 'ALL OUT' Stop fishing or call out ' Fish ON!! if you are into one and you then have 15 Minutes to land it.

There you go Common sense really.
Anything missed will be added later.
YF Matches are a swearing free zone. Unfortunately we can-not control other organiseations we share the venues with.
