well, no suntan. it rained from sun evening until thurs pm. stopped for an hour ,then carried on.fri /sat/sun were ok as was the 2 day drive to get back. the fishing suffered from the "you should have been here two weeks ago" 15kg on the pole to win a 15 man section. As you may be aware the fishing changed a tad, to slider or waggler at 35/40 yds, 4/5 bloodworm on the hook. to catch skimmers 2/10oz, with a bonus carp been about 12oz +, very delicate fishing, i honestly think that there were fish in 95% of the pegs at some moment, but if you didn't present it right, you didn't see the bite, and over half the fish you did catch, weren't damaging the bloodworm at all,so in our case we were fishing for the odd mug fish that gave a bigger indication, problem been, we didn't realise this until too late,(after the match in my case], very disappointing as you can imaging. apart from that,Hungary it self was nice, clean inexpensive, people were friendly, and tried to help you,but the language is something else, very hard to even learn the basic phrases, 5 beers please etc!! but as most foreign places they drive a bit differently. stop go fast, faster, get out of the way. still ,another 10 yrs and we might get to go back tata jsy man
