has anybody fished the rother in chesterfield ?
what did you catch
were are the best swims
as i am planning to fish it next week

not in cheterfield but in catacliffe it contains roach, perch, bream, other silvers and general coarse fish but also good chub theres also the odd barble and pike

hi craig i last fished the rother about a year ago try the strech at the back of morrisons at stavely theres a large wear there the last time i fished it i had a chub about 4lb + loads of perch gudgeon etc worm on a bomb is what i used but dont fish to light i got smashed twice on a 5lb maxima bottom give it a go and let me know how you get on !!
