I thought there was a thread covering this fishery. I fished this a few years ago and will be back this August. A brilliant place with cafe and Tackle shop. 4 lakes with carp to 27lbs in the speciman lake. Always fishes well . Too far for a day trip but if you are Salisbury way then it is well worth a visit. More later when I get back from my trip.

I bit of a letdown....Expected a bumper session and it just didn't materialise.Fished the Speciman Lake to find later that last year the lake was hit with a serious health problem and many of the big fish died. There are some left but it is a " three rods" sit and wait type water . Not my style. Had a few fish but nothing special.
Fished a different lake on the second day but fared even worse. Good start but fell away after the first fish. Wrong bait I think. Still a good venue but you need to talk to the regulars if you want the best out of it. Don't go on a weekend in summer as there is not a peg to be had.
