what are the best bait and tactics on this lake. Fished it years ago been on the web page but no mention of bait or methods.

last time i was there for a look around, gorundbait feeder with a single maggot on the hook seemed to be bagging all the fish 40-50yards out next to boathouse

well went here today very hard wind blowing from right to left towards the wall we statred in the shallow area nothing for the first 2hours so we moved down to the wall boat house area very weedy then we moved on to the concrete jetty to get past the weed and fished the middle part of the lake stiil a bit of weed but caught 2 bream and had loads of bite from small roach and that was on maggot & feeder with pellets mixed with bread crumbs & maggots still hard with the weed was told the top lake has a lot of weed but the two bloke that fished up there caught roach and tench the boat house has been boarded up but the boat is still in there not many fished but then again we did not pay the balif never came round so we saved £4 ;D
