NORBS whats a good winter bait there, IF im right i remember you mentioning pineapple,on an earlier reply. anything else you might suggest. will visit there in febuary pineapple is the mutt's nut's mate i fish 10mm match sized boilies out at distance i figured that with it been predominantly a match venue and most poles can't reach the distances i can cast to they'd not be used to seeing them there pineapple all the way mate ! i'm off back next saturday for a day session i went 24/11/07 and this was my results     brilliant venue in winter i wouldn't fancy doing a night session there tho not much room to bang up a bivvy or tent |

well if u had clicked the link u wud av found that limited night fishing is availble and will be into 2008 so i think night fising is allowed lads

I am going to London to see some mates in early feb and thought of pike fishing Drayton on the way back home. Is it a good day ticket pike water?

I've not pike fished it Geoff but it is supposed to be good. They have held some pike matches there this winter I read in Angling Times.
And if you look at the start of the thread Dan's chum had a couple of nice fish looking at the photos....
Let us know how you go if you try it mate.

hi is this day ticket or book if so how mutch day ticket £10 2 rods maximum yeah they have some monster pike in there too upto 30lbs the reservoir's record is 30 plus pounds when i went in november 2007 it had a bit of a tough patch according to the bailiff and wasn't fishing for pike too well but it's january now so should be different night fishing is allowed but like i said i wouldn't like to really as theres not much room for bivvys well i'm there this saturday can't wait winter carping c'mon ;D no one free to join me ? be a good days fishing. |

Because thats what jan porter said on the carp crew DVD it can be fully booked for 2 years in advanced Ignore people like Jan Porter, the web site says "it is not surprising that the water is heavily booked for weekend matches up to two years ahead." |
